Travel Chaos

Up early, actually really early, this morning for the shuttle to LAX. We could have avoided the 5 a.m. wake up call if we had stayed at an airport hotel, but we wanted to see our daughter one last time the evening before. Shuttling is definitely the way to go when staying any distance from the airport. Primetime was five minutes early picking us up and despite the traffic on I-405 shown here, still dropped us off a half hour before they promised. All we had to do was nap a bit in the back of the van and prepare ourselves for a day of waiting in line, crowded seating, and mediocre food - the price everyone, except perhaps those in first-class, pays for traveling long distances in a relatively short amount of time. I like the way this long exposure conveys the chaos of today's travel experience and decided to feature it even though it is not as sharp or well exposed as customary.
