After sunset

A late meal tonight. Fish and chips (from the nearby Fish and Chippery), along with some nearly champagne to celebrate J gaining a recognition that will enhance her business as an independent architect. Nearly champagne, because although it is made by a family business which makes real champagne, this is made from grapes that are grown in vineyards just outside the designated area. Tastes almost as good as their proper champagne; so almost champagne.

As we were about to sit down, I saw the sky tower, adjusted the ISO and took this photo.. 

The first extra was taken a couple of nights ago, after  had already posted my blip. The thin crescent moon through a crucifix orchid on the deck. The second extra was earlier this evening, of a newly bought and planted hydrangea.
