Words in action

Born from frustration at yesterday's meeting where debate was relentless in generating endless new fences to clear whilst circumnavigating the goal posts; in the end, I volunteered to write the clearly much needed proposal, to clarify and condense the boundless arguments, and this evening, surprised myself by having a very contented four hours in the library accomplishing the task.  By 21.00 I was wondering what new MA I might undertake, to satiate this resurrected feeling of intense satisfaction that the challenge of academic writing gives me - where brevity in word count belies the enormity of the thought contained.
