Floodwatch

A certain orange buffoon would have us believe that climate change is made up. Well I've lived here for 17 years and for the first 15 we would occasionally get a boggy garden - as in the grass would squelch.

This was at 15.00, by 16.00 it had risen another 3 inches. It's hard to tell from this but our garden is big - this is A LOT of water! Hopefully it will ease as forecast, but it's already in the garage :-(

I was having a restful day until I had to rush around putting flood doors in place and lifting up the garden office furniture... So quite sore now. Fortunately it feels acceptable to open the wine once it's gone dark....
