Experimentation

As forecast it has rained unremittingly all day. The new stair carpet was fitted today and looks lovely. Numerous floods and road closures meant that it wasn't sensible to venture out unless really necessary. So, I spent a little bit of time experimenting with the camera in the kitchen to see if I could achieve a bokeh effect. It is interesting to see what can be achieved with a glass, some fizzy water and a piece of scrunched up foil. 

Here's hoping the weather improves as I am supposed to be out walking tomorrow ... it will be very wet underfoot!
