Natural harvest

A worse day even than yesterday, raining lightly but constantly. The council have been coming up and down the road, collecting leaves with their big yellow sweeper. This is taken from our deck looking down into the road beside our garage. Seemed as good a Blip as any! 

This afternoon three of us in Keep Oban Beautiful have a meeting with folk from the planning department in the council - we have a few questions we want to put to them, such as why do they put Tree Preservation Orders on woodlands and then let someone cut trees down to build a house there. I'm not really looking forward to it, if the truth be told!
