Chimneys

Back to the day job, and it was a very grey, wet morning as I walked up to the office. In the afternoon, after a day working on reports, it was good to walk back in to Berwick during a brief sunny spell. (In the blip you can't see the ominous banks of heavy, dark cloud lurking all around!)

On North Road there are several big houses, each with 12 chimney pots. Can't help wondering whether any of the semis still have any of the six original fireplaces...
