On the party bus!

Park and ride bus in Leicester this evening and the blue lights down at the drivers end gave it a real nightclub feel....

In other news Apple are going to replace my MacBook’s display for free! Apparently ones made after 2012 can suffer from the coating on the screen failing and mine’s an early 2015 Retina MacBook, which it seems is affected so I get a new display. I’d not spotted this, the nice chap at the Genius Bar did, as I only took it in to have the ribbon connector to the keyboard and trackpad replaced, another common fault. So, as a result I get it all done for the grand total of £10, in fact by the time I got home I had an email to say it was all done and ready to collect. Excellent service!

It’ll be nice to have the MacBook back up and running again, especially for ‘doing’ photos and backing up, the latter of which is nigh on impossible with the iPad.
