Happy Birthday...

...to us!

It was our 40th birthday celebration in Leicester today and many of us from the East Midlands came together to celebrate, which was excellent. We gave out some awards to our superb volunteers too.

I was the third longest serving member of staff in the room!

Extras are of the team bike ride gathering ready to go and ride to Leicester's new closed road 1km cycle circuit and the most excellent graffiti on the venue, which was on Rutland Street just down from the curve.

In other news, the MacBook's back, hurray! And also in other news I've discovered that the iOS 11 update saves iPhone photos in a different format called HEIF instead of JPEG and you have to change the settings in camera to go back to JPEG. The reason I discovered this was that uploading from the iPhone to OneDrive reduced quality and stripped the Metadata out of the images. Turned it back to JPEG in camera settings and all is well with the world again, and it explains why these pictures are a bit yucky if you zoom in.
