Logging In

We spent an hour or so this morning stacking our latest delivery of logs for the wood burner. Tess reckons it's another example of my OCD tendencies that I get great satisfaction out of piecing them together neatly like a 3D jigsaw puzzle :)

In the afternoon we met up with our oldest (in the sense of how long we've known each other -well over 50 years) friend and best man, Martyn and his wife Elma. We hadn't seen them since our Ruby Wedding do in April, so it was good to catch up over a couple of drinks. A very sociable afternoon.
