Glastonbury Carnival. Time

Unfortunately, it was a very wet night for this year's Glastonbury Carnival but the crowds still turned out in force and the standard was very high, as always.

This is a detail from my favourite float, based on the book/play/film Warhorse. Tess, Chris &I got absolutely soaked and we're glad to get home in the dry; after a four mile walk, we reckoned we'd earnt our fish and chip supper.

Earlier Chris & I had suffered the agony of watching Yeovil lose 2-1 to a last minute winner from Swindon. They had been the far better team but we defended valiantly from the time we scored our fifth minute goal and to concede so late was a real sickener.
