Definitely Cuteness Overload...

A super day out in the cold winter sunshine with a trip to Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary on the Lincolnshire coast.

There were plenty of seals and according to the warden, Friday’s count was 516 bulls, 1390 cows and 1201 pups. Although judging by the number of obvious newborns, complete with umbilical attachments, I think the count today would be much higher.

There was definite cuteness overload with some very expressive pups and mums alike (see extras) and it was lovely to see them being so relaxed with all the people just the other side of the fence, most of them were not going to let a load of humans with cameras disturb their afternoon kip!
