A slice of Lesley's life

Entertaining

It feels like ages since I had a whole afternoon to play about the kitchen. Very splendid to make some new things. Top of the winning list were these lemon and coriander balls. The Saturday play (Graham Green’s Stamboul Train) provided a perfect backdrop. Anna helped out with these which was also lovely as we haven’t cooked together for a while. Longtime friends Stuart and Sarah were heading over which had provided the impetus. And the need for us all to have a quiet-ish day provided the time. Lovely to catch up with them.

The day was quiet-ish as Carlos has realised how close the gig is and spent a decent portion of the day rehearsing. At gig volume. Which is apparently important to find out exactly how the instrument is working. Good job as it turns out it needs some attention.
