Cheery flowers, sad occasion

I'm up in Lewis, it's almost that time of year to take flowers for my son's grave for what would have been his 27th birthday. He loved sunflowers and I found these in the Co-op today - so bright and cheerful, he would have loved them :)

When my children were little mum and dad always had a sunflower growing competition for them and my brother's three children. They all (including my severely disabled son) had to plant a pot with sunflower seeds then we'd all watch and wait to see whose would grow the tallest. Happy times.
