Silk Painting

I'm staying with my lovely friend [url=https://www.facebook.com/bluepigstudio]Jane, an artist in the Isle of Lewis[/url]. She was going to be running a silk painting workshop in the afternoon and asked me if i'd like to have a go too. This is something i've always wanted to try so jumped at the chance! 

I made up the design myself and was reasonably happy with it when it was done. I've sewn beads onto the corners and tomorrow i'll pop it into the post as a wee surprise for my mum.
