Look

Well she does seem to be giving me quite a look! She is actually very friendly and inquisitive, but she has just woken up and stuffed herself with food  so is just sitting there watching me! She has just the feathers on her face to fully grow out and then she will be all set for winter! Strangely she has sprouted 3 white feathers on one of her wings - she must be getting on in years! I was going to blip the beautiful Izzy but just couldn't resist Amy!
I spent the next few hours digging on my plot. I had no intention to do so, but a little tidying up on one bed led to clearing round the rose which has a new flowerbud would you believe! There were lots of wild strawberry plants - really they have covered every spare bit of ground - but nicer than weeds I guess! Also 2 young brambles hence the need to get the fork out!
Rest of the afternoon spent peacefully and with a guided meditation - I really look forward to this and find it so calming. Once it's finished I feel so relaxed I must admit I then have a little snooze! However it does mean I wake refreshed and energised to cook my dinner! I then eat it, do my ironing and  knit - all done whilst I watch TV! I am onto my second pile of ironing now - I iron 6 items every evening and must admit am coming to enjoy that too! Still discovering clothes I had forgotten I had - shame they are summer things so by  next summer  I will probably have forgotten them again! I think once the third pile is done I will then move on to clearing the clothes in the attic, maybe more than 6 items at a time though or it will be next christmas before I finish! Another form of weeding really,  to reveal those things I really do want to keep!
