Chicken soup

Now I know why I was wiped out yesterday. Woke up with a stomach bug. And today was meant to be a day of 'me time'. I had so many plans.

In the end it involved lying in bed, the papers, chicken soup and Corrie.

My husband had Audrey for the day to give me some rest. I missed them like crazy and was waiting at the top of the stairs to hear the door go like a crazy woman from 4pm onwards.

I bloody love my new little family. Days without them make me realise this.

Hoping to feel better tomorrow as I have a meeting and a day in the office planned. The office is the place I least like to be these days. But the mortgage doesn't pay itself. Worst luck.

Today's pic is an emergency blip as I haven't actually left the house. To tie it in with the theme of today's blip I would say that a day without Audrey and my husband has made me 'stop, look and listen' and realise what they mean to me....the house sure feels gloomy without them...
