Shelduck

Had a half day out at Martin Mere Wetlands reserve to see the over wintering Whooper Swans on their winter hols from iceland. Very noisy and grace full birds but what caught my eye were the numerous Shelduck. Common birds on the Lancashire coast but they have such lovely colours. Bumped into Jays Wildscape trying out his new 5D very expensive and impressive.
