Apologies for not having thanked everyone individually but I do have a good excuse for not having caught up with you all... Goatee https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2376818123652205338 has been to stay for the weekend and we’ve been very busy galavanting - hence the back-blipping!

He arrived in time for lunch so we headed over to Lovelock’s for a bite to eat before an afternoon of sightseeing, museums and galleries, a cup of tea at The Bluecoat, a Buddha bowl at My Kitchen and a drink at Constellations before a night of musical entertainment at District.

This weekend Liverpool is hosting a celebration of the work of avant-garde blues rocker and artist, Captain Beefheart and we were treated to a line-up of local musicians who owe some sort of debt to the Captain. We enjoyed the musical stylings of The Cubical, Pale Rider, Karm, Psycho Comedy and Dave McCabe (of The Zutons) and enjoyed the dancing of some enthusiastic audience members almost as much!
