Danby village from Ainthorpe Rigg

Fortunately I decided on an early walk this morning and although the wind was strong and very cold I was walking in sunshine.  I could see the dark clouds gathering over towards the coast and not too long after I got back, in fact just after we thought we might visit the Staithes Gallery, the rain and wind storm began.  We lit the stove and decided to stay put.  The wind is still wuthering outside and there's still rain but it's not quite as bad as it was.  I'm sure the BBC weather showed us having another day of sun!
