Stewed!

A little home cooking goes a long way. Nothing like Mom's beef stew and a couple chunks of Italian bread to do some slopping.

Is the slopping up the sauce with bread just an Italian thing? We slop up everything. Bread is an essential part of every meal for my family. You'd have thought I licked my bowl when I was finally done! Ohhh...so good!

New place mats, too. A gift from my neighbors for helping them sell their house in two days. Long story. Nice folks. I'll miss them.
