The Garth

Had a wonderful day :)
My Saturdays are shaping up quite nicely at the moment!
9 of us went up the Garth; got the train from Cardiff and hiked on up the Garth for lunch. I don't have any hiking shoes with me, so whilst everyone looked prepared for the walk I was wearing trainers whiter than the sun. They actually hurt to look at.
Some of us took the more 'adventurous' route and decided to not stick to the path but to scale our way up the side of the hill, mainly through the bracken...
It was such a beautiful view from the top, so hard to pick a photo!
I was doing so well, but I did slip over on the way down :/ but I lasted a good few hours without falling which for me was quite an achievement!
Roast chicken for dinner: Excellent way to end the day.
