Closed Beaches

and they have been all over the bayside beaches for the past couple of days. Apparently a private sewer system up the bay had a sump pump failure and the health department closed all the neighboring beaches as a precaution. Many fewer people are using the beach just down from our apartment, it was just us and one other person this morning, but the closure hasn't seemed to deter this fisherman. Either he didn't care or wasn't expecting to catch any fish, because he set his lines directly in front of one of the numerous signs.
