Gold Fish Bowl

Cheryl, Shev, Duncan, Lesley, Sharon and I were in Galashiels today. We were there to visit Moondogs Cafe where our friend Gillian has an exhibition of her photos.

Gillian introduced Shev and I to blipfoto, she is also in our drama group and it was amazing to see her work on display today. Before we went to the exhibition we went for a bite to eat at the Mexican restaurant, it was beautiful . Cheryl and Shev were on the cocktails and it was only 2pm (early).

The blip today is of the view from our table in the restaurant. The people walking by were peering in and it felt a bit like being in a gold fish bowl but the meal was excellent.

After the meal, we went to Moondogs Cafe and we had coffee and cake. I also got a free slice of carrot cake because they said they didn't have any when we went in . They then found it when I had already eaten my banana and walnut cake so I had to force it down and it was on the house too but I got help from the others so it was all good.

We are so proud of Gillian and wish her all the best for the rest of the run.
