Timber and the Rambler

What a day today, work was manic this morning but did enjoy my bacon roll with brown sauce at 9.30 am.

This afternoon when taking Euan to Roslin for his guitar lesson, we came to the big roundabout at Gowkley Moss and then we saw him, I can tell you it was not a pretty sight in fact I think it has left me emotionally scarred.

The first thing I noticed was the green floppy hat then the beard then the big brown hiking boots and the massive smile on his face. But, what you noticed most of all was the fact that he was wearing not a stitch.

Yes, it was the Naked Rambler and we had just heard on the radio that he had been released from prison in Edinburgh today and 1 minute later we see him in the altogether. Still trying to get over this shocking experience.

I went out for a wee drive tonight up to Gladhouse Reservoir, on the way back I was taking some shots of the Pentlands and was mucking about taking pictures of the trees and I really liked this one. I'm just glad the Naked Rambler wasn't hiding behind them ready to jump out and traumatise me all over again.
