Town Hall in the dark

Didn't turn out quite as I had hoped, but it's all I had from today.
This evening we took the Tura, which is the ferry between Denmark and Sweden that only takes 20 minutes. We stayed on twice which takes 2 hours as we were in the restaurant having a meal. We were 12 people with 9 different countries represented and our Swedish host has forgotten to remind us of the need to bring our passports which are needed to get back into Sweden! So 5 of us had no more ID than a credit card, which is normally not acceptable.......oops!
Luckily there was a very understanding young Policeman who after some very skillful negotiations by our host, allowed us to get off the ferry on the Swedish side. Otherwise it would have been an hours journey to the consulate in Copenhagen and then waiting to obtain a temporary passport to get back into Sweden......which would not have been a very good end to the evening.

Not to self - carry passport at all times when in Sweden! (This is hard for me as o hate carrying any sort of handbag),
