We Made It

Up at 3.30 and with head torches we headed off for our final destination Machu Picchu. More up and down steps. Legs don’t know what’s happened to them. The trek wasn’t quite so long only a couple of hours or so. Then there it was in all its glory. So worth the effort and boy did we put the effort in. Chinos full of information explained so much to us as we were walking around. I like the Inca beliefs. We could all learn from it.
A train ride like no other back to Ollantaytambo plus a bus ride.
Oh the joy of sitting on a toilet and having a nice hot shower. Bliss.
Not feeling great as this indigestion has really got to me. I’ve had it a couple of days and finding eating very difficult. Bought something from chemist let’s hope it works.
Another flight in the morning. On to the rainforest. Looking forward to it.
