Delightful

Woke up to amazing views. When Home I’ll add them. The longest walk today. Yesterday was the highest. Haven’t felt well today. Really bad indigestion and breathing is difficult. We had to keep moving on. Thought I’d show you the delights of the bathroom. No wonder I’m not feeling great! Once you’ve done your business you wipe and throw the paper in the corner. The smell is something else. The Inca Trail has more challenges within it than just the trek.
The porters are the most amazing people I have ever come across. They even made a cake today. Again I’ll add when Home. They run ahead and make sure they have lunch ready for when we roll up. They then pack everything up, carry it on their backs and get ready for when we roll up in the afternoon. They have our tents ready and sleeping bags ready too so we can have a lay before happy hour. Tonight we were given a feast.
