Portugal - Odiaxere - Day 8

Backblip

After breakfast the gang wanted a day at the pool relaxing. We drove into Lagos we have a walk in the old town and then another walk along the marina. It was quite a busy spot and really too many ex pats and Touristy for our taste. We stopped for a coffee overlooking the Marina, in the shade. It was another hot day. Quite windy today probably worse by the coast. There was some big waves crashing to the shore in Lagos.

While walking back to the car got some bad. Eww from Aly in Southampton telling me she has breast cancer, quite a bad one but feeling hopeful of the improved treatments out there now. Her op is next Wednesday . Felt really upset about it.

We lazed about the Quinta. Had a nice chat with Christine and Graham before they were leaving for their flight home in the Cabana. Julio and Jill were away to a christening so we helped a new couple staying Wing and Martin, get into their apartment as they were locked out. We cleaned the leaves from the pool and then said goodbye to Christine and Graham. Quite sad saying goodbye!

We all went out to the chicken restaurant- there is no menu as it only sells chicken, chips and salad. It was delicious, but Laura got something stuck in her throats and threw up on the way home. Poor soul ....
