MORNING

The garden has been sadly neglected this week, but is wonderfully forgiving. Just drifted round this morning, taking it all in. I like the way the fennel, cosmos and verbena bonariensis have taken over, tall, elegant, lifting their heads up high to benefit from the low lying sun. The savoy is refusing to 'heart', but we will eat the outer leaves anyway - here is one still bejewelled from yesterday's rain fall. The purple reflection is from some Virginia stock which should not be flowering until spring.

EXERCISE DIARY:
Well, there was quite a bit of mental stuff going on, you know, I'm sure that burns calories too? Hope so, I had a large vanilla crunch in Beanscene between classes.
