Sore today!

Well I slept a bit better last night, but been wide awake since after 4, so took painkillers, and had breakfast all finished by 5.30!

Read some more of the Twin Peaks Final Dossier (finished it today), then heading out to the parkrun drugged up on paracetamol and ibuprofen (the codeine was kept for when I got back to the house).
I was very lucky to have a whole host of helpers to ensure that I didn't have to do anything strenuous today. Driven to the park, boxes of kit lugged to the start, and plenty of volunteers to ensure the start and end  markers were all positioned correctly.

We had our 2nd highest attendance today (57 - with 11 first timers).

C got his marathon wrist band, but wanted to volunteer today rather than run (he handed out the barcodes, and Mrs H scanned them).

Then back to the house, codeine and bed.

Got up, watched bits of 3 football games, ate a lovely roast chicken lunch, and am now ready for more codeine and bed!
