The sky was wonderful this morning when we took the dogs out.

We were supposed to go swimming today, but some kids have been firing some kind of "bombs" all afternoon. Good 4 hours now. Buddha is so scared. He's now next to me on the sofa and buried with pillows and a blanket. We just can't leave him here alone. And dogs aren't allowed on the beach.

Anyway. I've been trying to work with new material. Inner tube. Really difficult to sew. Easier to cut, but how can I stop it from curling? Is there some kind of layer I can apply to keep it level? Anyone?
