Callosa de Segura

Tried to conquer the mountain but it conquered us. We climbed up averaged 30% steepness about 300+ meters. Sweat pouring down. Almost two hours on the mountains and basically we got nowhere.

My legs were finally almost back to normal, now they are back to aching boiled spaghetti. Few times we had to lift the dogs up because it was too high for them to just jump. I used my hands quite a lot to be able to go up. At some point I looked down and realized that panic a-coming time to get down. We were bit worried how to get the dogs back down, but actually they got down better than up. Few points were we lifted them down to be safe.

All and all interesting place. Very hostile mountain. Not much trees or plants. But apparently quite a lot of birds hawks and owls to add to the normal assortment.
