Event Centre

A rather damp start to this morning as we drove to Southampton for today's urban Orienteering race. Fortunately the sun put in an appearance for our runs.

The event centre was in Southampton Solent University. We had early starts so found parking at the university. The inside was a light and ultra modern space with space to congregate and pick up the emit devices (a way of recording our visit to the controls used in the south of England) and numbers for the event. On the way to the exit I encountered this unusual spectator.

Enjoyed my run without making any major errors, although I think it will favour the quicker runners. Looking forward to a meal out tonight at a family run restaurant not far from where we are staying.
