Just can't leaf it alone...
Who needs a gym membership when you have oak trees over tennis courts?
This morning I spent a happy couple of hours bagging up fallen leaves, which were scattered across the tennis court (the village court not mine, I'm not that grand). The tennis court recently came back under the control and management of the Parish Council, and I didn't like the thought of anyone slipping on leaf mould, or of algae growing on the court surface over the winter. And if you want a good job done... Mind, I've now got a dozen bags of good oak leaves quietly turning to the most excellent leaf compost behind my garden shed.
I've added an extra of a montage of the fireworks from last night's primary school event. Now, anyone for tennis? :-)
