The other end of the day

The mistiness of the evening is quite wonderful.. well... evening.. l mean.. this was taken at 4.30!!  I think my evening really starts when the gin bottle can be opened without guilt... mmm... gin... now there's an idea!!

The painter has finished the kitchen, sitting room and bathroom and will come back when l can find a plasterer to do the work in the attic.. when being the operative word.. it seems all plasterers around here are fully busy and want no more work.  With the smell of the gloss paint in the house we have had full ventilation for the last few days. however last night l tried to put the heating on for a warmth top up and the boiler failed to kick in.. so today l was lucky enough to get the engineer in and he has sorted it.. it seems there was a very large air lock in the system and now having bled all the radiators and turned everything up full.. we have heat... YAY!  Roll on the weekend and no alarm clocks...
