Loi Kratong Festival

The Loi Kratong Festival traditionally marks the end of the rainy season. Loi in Thai is an 'offering' and kratong means 'floating'. It is the light festival when people make a small floating offering lit with a candle to waters: ponds, lakes, rivers, canals or even the sea.
