MCS Final Matric Assembly
'M' is for MCS (Mountain Cambridge School)
Can't believe a whole year has gone since R jr's final assembly, but it's true! Today it was Anrie's group, 'The Class of 2012' who walked through the 'Guard of Honour' by High School Learners and Staff, from the school to the Church next to the school, for their last assembly!
What a lovely, memorable ceremony! I was privileged to be able to attend and I am so grateful for that!
Our Headboy for 2012, Luke Taylor, delivered an emotionally touching speech and took us right through the history of the school, which he attended from GrR and although this was his last year as scholar, he still plans to do his A-Levels here in 2013 as well
The LSL's each made a short speech to thank a matric pupil for leading and supporting them in different fields and then handing a rose to that specific senior, sooooo touching! One sweet little girl thanked Anrie for teaching her about respect and caring for others, and about being humble and working hard to be successful and then she added: 'I wish to be exactly like Anrie when I grow up'!! Oh my, everybody was in tears!!
