Wings

It’s always a treat to hang out and shoot the breeze with the lovely Eleanor - but, since she moved up to Glasgow at the beginning of the year to start a new job, her visits to Liverpool are, sadly, all too fleeting these days. So it was great to have the chance to catch up with her over breakfast today while she’s in town for a hectic couple of days of meetings - en route to a conference in London.

As an added bonus, after breakfast there was time for a quick photo shoot at the Liver Birds Wings mural on Jamaica St.

The Wings were painted by artist Paul Curtis back in August and have become quite the local attraction, but parked vehicles immediately in front of them make it rather tricky to get a decent shot! I did my best!
