Stable Mews?

Usual St Ives Estate circuit this morning but 15 minutes earlier than usual for me. Luckily it was light (just) at 7.15am due to the clocks changing last weekend. It won't be too long though before it will be really dark at that time again and it will be interesting venturing into the woods.

A pleasant dry morning with nothing striking or unusual until we got to the buildings in the centre. We have been watching the development of the former stables of an equestrian centre into dwellings. (We used to like looking at the foals being fed here.) Today a huge gate had appeared with, rather fittingly, this horses head on top. One wall of the former stables, below the roof seen here, has been fitted all the way along with glass doors so large gates for security and privacy are obviously required. Shame, we won't be able to see what's going on any more!

Spent the rest of the morning cleaning the oven - what joy.
