Autumn colour

I was passing through Keswick earlier and stopped off with Bonnie to see what the autumn colour was like in Hope Park. There was quite a lot of colour but still a way to go yet. I spotted this colourful shrub, I have no idea what it called but I want one!!

Afterwards I went to Derwentwater to look at the view down the lake which is always fantastic no matter what the weather. Today it was very moody with lots of low cloud on the fells and of course it was raining! I probably would have blipped the view but got a couple of raindrops on the lens!

Anyhow I had quite a surprise as since my last visit somebody has erected a huge wooden frame in front of the view, yeeks!!! The idea is that you can pose behind it and have your photo taken and you will be in the framed view. Whatever next!! I just might have to blip it soon!
