Autumn colour on fells

Its been such a lovely day today and even better was that I had work to do in Keswick which of course meant that I could do a walk with Bonnie afterwards. I had planned to go back to Hope Park and Derwentwater where I went yesterday in the rain but the sunshine brought out too many people for me! So instead we headed up to the car park nr Latrigg to do one of Bonnie's favourite easy peasy walks.

We had a great time up there and for once there was no wind! The sun was in and out and creating lovely patterns and colours on the fells which are starting to look very autumnal. I really do love this time of year. Of course I took lots of photos but this one of Skiddaw is my favourite.
