Quay Change

Today's big adventure was a pram walk to Salford Quays. It is surprisingly closer to Chorlton than you might expect!

55 minutes to get there on a walk that passes Old Trafford cricket ground and Manchester United.

Turns out Salford Quays is a great place to go with a pram as you can walk right along the Wharf side and over the bridge to the Lowry Outlet Mall and the MediaCity studios. Most of the BBC's big shows like Breakfast, Match of the Day, Dragon's Den etc. are filmed there and the concourse is really vibrant, buzzing with media types and bars and restaurants.

Audrey managed the fabled Two Hour Lunch Nap while we were there. I found myself peeking into the pram willing her to wake up as I missed her and wanted to play with her! We had a lovely lunch and coffee (woops dentist will not be pleased, white food and clear liquids only was my instruction for the next week) and she loved looking around. She attracts quite the fan club when she's on form and we got lots of lovely smiles and compliments.

She's been gorgeous today, an absolute joy to hang out with. I have her all day tomorrow too so hope it continues. Oh No. Why would I say that on blip? Cursed it now, surely.
