Why Autumn Leaves Turn Red.
In ancient times, three brave Native American hunters set out to track a bear. After months of following it's trail, they realised the bear had led them across the globe from east to west and was now leading them up into the sky. Although they tried to turn back, it was too late so they carried on tracking, getting weaker and more exhausted as they went on. When they finally caught and slew the bear, it had been almost a year and autumn was upon them. They laid the bear upon a bed of oak and sumac branches and it's blood stained the leaves red. The hunters scattered the parts of the bear they couldn't use to different ends of the earth and the backbone formed a constellation in the northern sky known as Ursa Major. Ursa Minor was made up of other parts. So now we know why some leaves turn red in autumn
