Derwent Water was looking good this morning with the autumn colours.  Misty and her friend had a great time both in and out the water.  It was very dull when we arrived and when we left a few hours later it had brightened up and the sun appeared briefly.  One of Misty in extras.

Misty had one of her "bull in a china shop" moments when we started the walk.  Instead of waiting for me to open the gate next to a cattle grid, she tried to run across it.  Probably didn't see it until she got her legs stuck in it.   I couldn't believe it.  Its not as if we haven't been there before and gone through the gate.  Don't think she'll do that again in a hurry.  Her legs are fine thank goodness.   Her friend has gone home, we'll miss her as we always do.
