Diary of an Edinburgher

Frisbee fun!

Pretzel (extra) and her mum came round for a romp in the garden. What fun wee dog she is! She's a live wire. Archie loves her - they played and played and ran around out the back like we haven’t seen him doing for ages. Even inside, the fun continued, with short pauses by either dog, then back into it. I could watch them all morning, and in fact, we nearly did.

We offered to look after her anytime (they live just round the corner) and so she's coming one morning soon while her mum goes off to her art class (icon painting, since you ask).

Funnily enough, when I took Archie to the Links, we met another new schnauzer - Romeo. What a wee smasher he was, from Australia. Romeo could do a roll over, something I want to teach Archie when I muster enough energy for the task.

We had his favourite giant frisbee, and he brought it back several times. Good boy. But then he refuses to actually give it to me. Tug-of-war - what fun. He's quite good at swinging it up and lying it on his back so that he can run with it. He's done it several times now, so it can’t be just a fluke. He's clever.
