2017 Tuesday -- Power Washing the Roof

A rather golden algae grows on the dark green tiles of our roof and Mr. Fun really thought the roof needed to be cleaned. So the power wash happened today.

What Mr. Fun wasn't prepared for is the ugly mess that would be left on the side yards and somewhat in the back yard. The power-wash guys did an excellent job of cleaning the front windows, the front porch, and the garage doors, but oh my, the over-spray on side windows and even on the TuffSheds on the side yard was staggering.

And we have an "Open House" happening here Sunday afternoon. Oh well, some of the upstairs windows won't be as clean as they ought to and the top of the pergola is quite dirty and can be seen from an upstairs window, but that's the great outdoors, right. If a person needs a perfect spotless house, they will have to look somewhere else.
