Sunset at Whitstable
An entertaining morning while Susan was out at the Doctor’s with her mother on another appointment. I devoted some time to the Herculean task of keeping stuff under control by sorting, tidying and throwing away paperwork and all that sort of thing. I then started on the garden doing battle with the vicious pyracantha which seemed to be on steroids this summer judging by the vigorous growth it’s put on this year. It gets you twice, once while pruning and again when cutting it up to go in the compost bin despite wearing thick rigger gloves.
Susan suggested that as it was a very pleasant afternoon that we go Whitstable for a walk along the seafront. The light was superb making today’s choice of blip difficult. In the end it was the golden light of a wonderful sunset through the masts and rigging of all the boats that won the day although the sun on the buildings and the crowds at the Old Neptune pub ran today’s choice very close.
