So Stobo

The daughters and I are off this morning on our annual jaunt to Stobo Castle Spa for two nights of bonding and sybaritic life style. The daughters can relax away from husbands, partners and children, and selfishly, I will have them all to myself.

Although it is a health spa, there is probably less emphasis on health for us and more on relaxation in beautiful Peebleshire countryside. There will be swimming, cycling, and walking not to mention too much fine eating and drinking.

One daughter has flown in from Muscat, one has driven north West Yorkshire, one is driving south from the wilds of Rannoch, one is making her way east from Glasgow, while the eldest daughter and I are driving south from Edinburgh. We will all meet up by prior arrangement in Peebles for lunch before starting the jollifications at the castle. It is all So Stobo!
