A last hoorah

I took some more lovely captures of toadstools this evening, I've stuck one on Flickr for those who are interested. The light was failing as we entered the woods but luckily I remembered my Girl Guide Photography badge and took a couple of small torches with me.

However I blipped toadstools yesterday and they were so well received (thank you - so many hearts and stars I was overwhelmed, truly) I can't repeat the same subject two days running.

I'm fascinated by the mosaic quality of this and it also makes me think of an ancient tapestry. I took quite a few shots as the butterfly warmed up on the bathroom window ledge early this morning, they have striped antennae I discovered :) As with the toadstools I'll shove the others on Flickr.
